Policies
Breaks for an 8 hour shift
- 30 minute paid lunch break allotted after 6 hours
- 10 minute rest break
Clocking in & Out
- All Employees are responsible for properly recording their time punches, clocking in and out via Sling.
- All Employees are responsible for correcting any missed time punches at the end of their shift.
- Altering, falsifying or tampering with time records is prohibited and subjects the employee to discipline, up to and including discharge.
Overtime Policy
- All Shifts are formatted for 8 hours
- All overtime needs to be approved by a manager before going into overtime
Late Policy
- We expect every employee to be on time, that means clocked in AND starting to work at your scheduled time. If you arrive and are not ready to start working past that time, you are considered late.
- Excessive or Detrimental Absenteeism or Tardiness will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Help! I feel sick!
- Let your manager know ASAP, then please send a group text to your coworkers asking if anyone can cover your shift. Please do not wait until the last minute, the more notice the better. Keep your manager updated as things progress.
Vacation/Requests off
- Request Time off Policy – Please be sure to put in your time request (Sling) as soon as you are planning the time off and no less than 2 weeks in advance. Once you have submitted your request, we will give you an approval or denial within a few days. While we try to accommodate everyone's request, we have a small staff and it can get tight if more than 1 team member requests off at a time. If there has already been 1 (server or chef) who has requested the time off you want, please talk to the manager, we will do our best to accommodate, but we do uphold the right to say no.
