Troubadour HBG LLC is committed to providing a safe and secure work environment for all employees, free from any form of workplace violence.
- Workplace violence includes, but is not limited to: physical assault, threats, intimidation, harassment, or any other behavior that could cause harm or fear to employees.
These classifications of violence can come from the following:
- Type 1 violence: workplace violence committed by a person who has no legitimate business at the worksite, including violent acts by anyone who enters the workplace or approaches workers with the intent to commit a crime
- Type 2 violence: workplace violence directed at employers/employee by customers, clients, patients, students or visitors
- Type 3 violence: workplace violence against an employee by a present or former employee, supervisor, or manager
- Type 4 violence: violence committed in the workplace by a person who does not work there but has or is known to have had a personal relationship with an employee
- Risk Assessment: Quail and Condor considers its location in reference to: public access with foot traffic, bus stop, highway access, distance from police department, and layout of the building in reference to exposure.
- Guest interactions (start with us assessing their temperament and cash handling)
- Working Hours including early mornings (in dark)
- Side door – redirecting guests to proper check out
- SideCar - Try to keep public from entering in breezeway
- Phone & Email – deescalate & redirect
- Our operations are fully exposed to the public, we take the precaution of covering cash handling at night and making deposits often.
- We have an equitable exchange with each individual who enters to mitigate any escalation
- We assess gender and race before calling the police, but put our safety first, including people who are intoxicated
- Music & Language – appropriate music for all ages – clothing/posters/artwork with no offensive wording
- Communication & Training: Zero Tolerance Policy maintains a zero tolerance policy for all forms of violence
We offer: 1 annual formal training and 1 annual in-house training
Leadership is happy to go over training and procedures at any point.
We are always available for conflict resolution after de-escalation – off site

- Security Officers - Provided by MCM Diversified (landlord)
- Change door code annually
- Clearly identified exits
- Cash Handling Procedures – minimize the risk of robbery or theft
- Moving the POS out of sight at end of day
- Make deposits regularly, don’t keep more than 7 days worth on site.
